Dr. Fanton
In 2020 Covid hit. But 100 years before this current crisis, Cholera struck the beloved Dr. Fanton, after he saved many lives afflicted by the epidemic in Arles. This poster features daily death tolls, impromptu cures, tools of the trade, and a poster to raise money for the crisis. The Rue Dr. Fanton is named after this long deceased physician, once housed the majority of the city’s Jewish population and now is home to the Fondation Vincent Van Gogh.
